In July 2025, under the guidance of the Ministry of Public Security's Research Center for Road Traffic Safety, Duolun Technology partnered with the People's Government of Chenduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, to successfully host the "Safe Summer, Empowering Young Minds" traffic safety campaign in local schools.

To ensure the donated facilities would effectively address local traffic issues, Duolun Technology's technical team, in collaboration with experts from the Ministry of Public Security's Road Traffic Safety Research Center, conducted multiple on-site inspections and thorough surveys of the intersection of National Highways G214 and G574, as well as the adjacent Zhenqin Exit on the Xili Expressway.

The investigation revealed multiple safety hazards at the intersection:
Lack of Effective Traffic Control
The intersection of two national highways, directly connected to a highway exit ramp, experiences complex traffic flows. However, it has long lacked essential order-management facilities like traffic signals, leading to disordered vehicle movement and high risk.
Poor Channelization and Road Markings
The intersection lacks scientific channelization, and the existing road markings are severely worn and unclear. This results in ambiguous vehicle paths and a high potential for conflicts.
Insufficient Speed Management
The area lacks necessary speed limits and deceleration facilities. Vehicles pass through at excessively high speeds, making it difficult to react in time within the complex intersection environment.
Improper Traffic Sign Placement
Some traffic signs are spaced too closely together and obstruct each other, compromising drivers' ability to recognize critical information promptly and accurately.
Missing Highway Entrance Advance Warning
The Xili Highway entrance only has an entry sign, lacking a 500-meter advance warning sign. This fails to give drivers adequate time to anticipate and prepare.

Multiple pedestrians often wait within the intersection area to hitch rides, creating prominent vehicle-pedestrian mixing and further increasing safety risks.
A Resounding Success: Tech-Driven Overhaul Delivers Major Safety Gains
In direct response to the critical safety hazards uncovered, Duolun Technology deployed its intelligent traffic systems expertise to engineer a strategic upgrade for the problematic intersection. Guided by the Ministry of Public Security's Road Traffic Safety Research Center, a full suite of custom-designed traffic signals and supporting infrastructure was installed and is now live.
The new intelligent signal system has effectively regulated traffic order at the intersection of G214 and G574 and the connected highway exit area. It has clarified the right-of-way and achieved segregation of vehicles and pedestrians. The upgraded ancillary facilities have significantly improved visibility at the intersection, enhanced speed control, and resolved issues like sign obstruction. As a result, the intersection has seen substantial improvements in safety, order, and traffic efficiency, earning consistent praise from both local government and residents.
