Recently, Duolun Technology unveiled Nanjing's first smart charging station integrating photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, liquid-cooling supercharging, battery detection, and V2G (vehicle-to-grid) technology. Located in Jianye District, the “Nan Hu DoDo Super Charging Station” officially commenced operation, marking a significant breakthrough in the district’s smart energy infrastructure and underscoring Duolun’s growing expertise in innovative energy solutions.
Comprehensive Layout: A New Benchmark in Integrated Smart Charging

Spanning 1,666 square meters, the station was completed in just four months—from planning to operation. It features 32 parking spaces, including 27 charging bays and 5 non-charging bays, equipped with three 600kW smart charging piles supporting 26 DC fast-charging ports and one liquid-cooling supercharging port. This setup enables simultaneous charging for 27 mid- and small-sized new energy vehicles, efficiently meeting urban commuting demands.

In a move to build a green energy system, the station incorporates three independent solar canopies installed above the charging bays. A total of 219 high-efficiency 590W photovoltaic panels form a distributed solar system with a total installed capacity of 129.21 kWp. It is projected to generate approximately 120,000 kWh of electricity annually, reducing carbon emissions by nearly 100 tons and forming a closed-loop model for local clean energy production and consumption.

Supporting the energy system are six 100kW/233kWh energy storage cabinets independently developed by Duolun. These units enable “charging during off-peak hours and discharging during peak hours,” helping stabilize grid loads while reducing operational costs. The station also includes V2G devices, power distribution units, and auxiliary facilities such as a smart rest area, HD surveillance, and automated access gates—forming a fully functional and user-friendly smart charging ecosystem.

Technology-Driven Innovation: A New Model for “PV-Storage-Charging-Inspection” Scenarios

As a tangible showcase of Duolun’s core technologies, the station seamlessly integrates the full chain of solar power generation, energy storage, charging, V2G discharge, and battery inspection.
Key innovations include:
- Standardized and low-cost photovoltaic bracket designs that simplify installation and lower infrastructure requirements.
- The “Charging Guardian” smart terminal, which uses embedded algorithms to monitor battery parameters in real time and generate battery health reports during charging. Compatible with most existing and new charging piles, it overcomes technical barriers to widespread adoption.

At the operational level, the station is managed by an intelligent energy management platform. Using big data and AI algorithms, the platform optimizes energy dispatch, ensuring balanced distribution among PV generation, storage units, and charging piles. Edge computing technology also enables real-time video analysis for smart vehicle guidance and personnel management, enhancing both safety and operational efficiency.

The energy flow within the system is both logical and efficient: solar power is prioritized for charging vehicles, with surplus energy stored in the batteries. Stored energy is deployed during high-demand periods, and the system also leverages low-cost off-peak grid electricity to charge storage units—effectively supporting low-carbon objectives through technical innovation.
Innovation-Driven: Pioneering the New Energy Service Industry
With nearly three decades of industry experience, Duolun Technology has achieved a deep integration of technology and real-world application through the Nan Hu Station project. This station stands as a major milestone in the company’s expansion into smart energy services.
Looking ahead, Duolun will continue to focus on its commitment to technological innovation and application scenario expansion, refining its integrated “PV-storage-charging-inspection” solutions to deliver more efficient, convenient, and eco-friendly charging services for new energy vehicle users. By doing so, Duolun aims to support the high-quality development of the new energy industry and contribute to the achievement of national carbon neutrality goals.
