On May 9, 2020, the On-site Promotion Meeting of the Internet of Vehicles Pilot Zone Construction of Jiangsu was held in Wuxi. Wuxi Municipal Government, Municipal Government of Xiangcheng District of Suzhou, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Public Security, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transport, Jiangsu Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, and several leading companies in the Internet of Vehicles industry were invited to attend the meeting.

At the meeting, the nameplate unveiling ceremony of Jiangsu Technical Committee of ICVs Standardization, the release ceremony of Top Ten Iconic Projects for the Development of the Internet of Vehicles Industry in Jiangsu, and the release ceremony of Outstanding Innovative Technologies and Products of the Internet of Vehicles (ICVs) Industry in Jiangsu 2019 were held. The reply to support Nanjing (Qinhuai) to build a provincial-level Internet of Vehicles pilot zone was also read out at the same time.

At the same time, Wuxi Government and Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transport respectively issued keynote speeches on “Grasp New Opportunities and Start New Journeys”, and “Accelerate Vehicle-road Collaborative Innovations and Breakthroughs and Work Together to Promote the Development of Intelligent Transportation”. Re-mobilization and redeployment of the construction of the national-level pilot zone will ensure new breakthroughs in the construction of a domestically leading application demonstration zone and industrial cluster zone of the Internet of Vehicles.

Featured Application of Intelligent Traffic Management in Jiangning District

Intelligent traffic facilities such as the signal control system, multi-mode traffic guidance and information service system and parking guidance system for more than 1,000 intersections in Jiangning District undertaken by Duolun Technology have played an important role in the public security traffic management work. In Nanjing’s “National Public Transportation Demonstration City” Building Project, the three phases of the construction of Jiangning Public Transportation Priority System undertaken by Duolun Technology have improved the travel efficiency of public transportation and improved the travel quality of citizens, achieving good application results.
